Uralungal Labour Contract Co-operative Society (ULCCS) has announced a major strategic expansion with the launch of two new brands like UL Actant and UL N’Shore, marking its entry into electrical engineering, green energy, and premium interior solutions.
The dual venture is projected to generate ₹4,000 crore in revenue over the next decade while creating around 3,500 direct and indirect employment opportunities, reinforcing ULCCS’ commitment to inclusive growth and future-ready infrastructure development.
Building on the foundation laid by its EPC brand U-Sphere, introduced during its centenary celebrations, ULCCS is now extending its integrated capabilities across emerging sectors.
UL Actant will operate as a full-spectrum electrical engineering and green energy solutions provider, offering services such as electrical control systems, ELV infrastructure, smart traffic systems, surveillance networks, and data connectivity solutions. The venture will also play a key role in renewable energy deployment, including solar installations, and aims to expand into green hydrogen, wind energy, small hydropower, pumped storage, and battery energy storage systems by 2035. With strong industry accreditations and experience in high-voltage electrical works, UL Actant is targeting ₹2,000 crore in revenue and 1,500 jobs over the next ten years.
On the other hand, UL N’Shore will focus on premium interior design and turnkey fit-out solutions across residential, commercial, and institutional spaces. With an emphasis on sustainable and biophilic design, the brand will deliver modular furniture, integrated design services, and complete workspace solutions. Leveraging ULCCS’ advanced manufacturing ecosystem and infrastructure, UL N’Shore is also projected to achieve ₹2,000 crore in revenue and generate around 2,000 jobs in the same period.
This expansion reflects ULCCS’ forward-looking vision to diversify into high-growth sectors, combining its legacy of engineering excellence with innovation in green energy, advanced electrical systems, and modern design solutions.
