G R Engineering selected as L1 bidder for Continuous Catalytic Regeneration package at Petronet LNG Dahej PDH PP plant
G R Engineering has emerged as the L1 bidder for Petronet LNG’s ₹1107 crore CCR package at the Dahej PDH-PP plant marking a major step forward in India’s expanding petrochemical infrastructure.

G R Engineering has been declared the lowest bidder (L1) for the Continuous Catalytic Regeneration (CCR) package of Petronet LNG’s upcoming Propane Dehydrogenation and Polypropylene (PDH-PP) plant in Dahej, Gujarat. The company’s bid is valued at approximately ₹1,107.39 crore, positioning it as the frontrunner for one of the project’s most critical components.
The CCR unit forms an essential part of the PDH-PP complex, enabling the continuous regeneration of catalysts required for propane dehydrogenation, a process fundamental to producing polymer-grade propylene. The scope of work includes construction, installation, integration, and commissioning of the CCR facility, along with associated infrastructure.

Petronet LNG’s PDH-PP project marks a major step in the company’s transition into value-added petrochemicals, expanding its profile beyond LNG regasification. Once operational, the integrated complex is expected to contribute significantly to India’s domestic polypropylene supply, reducing import dependence and supporting downstream industries such as packaging, automotive, textiles, and consumer goods.

Dahej, already one of India’s most prominent LNG and industrial hubs, is poised to strengthen its position further with the addition of this large-scale petrochemical unit. Industry observers note that awarding key packages such as the CCR unit highlights steady progress in project execution and reinforces the region’s role in India’s evolving energy and manufacturing landscape.
