US-based infrastructure and technology company Carbonatik has entered into a major investment partnership with the Government of Andhra Pradesh, signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) worth ₹31,500 crore to develop aviation, port, and inland waterway projects across the state.
The agreement, which aligns with Andhra Pradesh’s focus on transforming its logistics and transportation ecosystem, aims to accelerate multi-sector infrastructure development. Under the MoU, Carbonatik is expected to bring advanced design, engineering, and technology solutions to support new aviation facilities, upgrade existing port infrastructure, and enhance waterway connectivity to key industrial and coastal corridors.
State officials highlighted that the collaboration will not only boost regional economic activity but also generate large-scale employment opportunities. The planned projects are geared toward improving cargo movement, strengthening coastal logistics, and enabling smoother inter-state and international trade routes.
Carbonatik has stated that Andhra Pradesh’s strategic coastal location, investor-friendly governance, and growing industrial base were key reasons behind choosing the state for this long-term investment. Detailed project timelines, locations, and implementation frameworks will be finalized in the coming phases in coordination with relevant state departments.
The MoU marks one of the significant international investment commitments for Andhra Pradesh in 2025, reinforcing the state’s ambition to position itself as a major logistics and aviation hub on India’s eastern coast.
