Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari chaired a review meeting of the National Highways Logistics Management Limited (NHLML) and assessed the progress of key infrastructure projects, including Multi Modal Logistics Parks (MMLPs), Ropeways, Intermodal Stations, and Way Side Amenities being developed across the country.

During the review, Shri Gadkari underscored the strategic significance of these initiatives in creating a future-ready and integrated transport ecosystem for India. He stated that the projects are expected to strengthen multimodal connectivity, generate new economic opportunities, support balanced regional development, and enhance the country’s overall logistics competitiveness.

The Minister also reviewed challenges impacting project implementation and directed all concerned stakeholders to address bottlenecks on priority and accelerate project execution. He emphasized the need for timely completion of the projects to improve logistics efficiency, reduce transportation costs, and provide world-class infrastructure and commuter amenities.

According to Shri Gadkari, the successful and timely delivery of these initiatives will play a crucial role in advancing the vision of a Viksit Bharat and Aatmanirbhar Bharat, while strengthening India’s transportation and logistics network for long-term economic growth.
