Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited has secured an order worth ₹28.58 crore, including taxes, from Hindalco Industries Limited for its Aditya expansion project.
The order involves the manufacture, supply and commissioning of railway wagons and related equipment required for the project. The contract further strengthens Texmaco Rail’s presence in industrial rail infrastructure and captive logistics requirements for the metals sector.
Hindalco’s Aditya Aluminium facility in Odisha is among the company’s major aluminium operations. The expansion project is aimed at strengthening the facility’s production and associated infrastructure, creating additional requirements for efficient internal material movement and rail-based logistics.
Texmaco Rail & Engineering has a diversified portfolio covering freight wagons, passenger coaches, railway infrastructure and related engineering solutions. The company has also been securing orders from private-sector customers as demand for rail-based freight movement and dedicated industrial logistics continues to grow.
The latest order adds to Texmaco Rail’s order inflows from the private sector and reflects the growing role of rail-based transportation in large industrial projects.
The company has been receiving orders across different segments during the current financial year, including freight wagon manufacturing and railway infrastructure-related contracts, supporting its overall order book and execution pipeline.
