Oriental Rail Infrastructure Limited has received approval for its equity shares to be admitted for trading on the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), with trading commencing from August 17, 2026. The company was already listed on the BSE, making the NSE admission an additional market platform for its shares.
The company’s equity shares will trade on the NSE under the symbol ORIRAIL, with a face value of ₹1 per share. The permission follows NSE Circular No. 1355/2026 dated August 14, 2026, issued under the exchange’s Capital Market Trading Regulations.
The NSE listing gives Oriental Rail Infrastructure access to India’s largest stock exchange by trading activity and provides investors with an additional venue for buying and selling the company’s shares. The development could also broaden the company’s visibility among market participants who primarily operate through the NSE.
The move comes shortly after the company reported a strong start to FY27. For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, Oriental Rail Infrastructure recorded consolidated revenue from operations of ₹137.58 crore, up 16.7% year-on-year, while consolidated net profit rose 83% to ₹10.75 crore.
Oriental Rail Infrastructure operates in the railway products and infrastructure segment, with activities spanning railway wagons, railway interiors and other related products. The company has also secured several railway-related orders in recent months, supporting its exposure to India’s continuing railway infrastructure and rolling-stock investment cycle.
The NSE admission could potentially improve liquidity and price discovery by bringing the company’s shares to a larger trading ecosystem. However, actual liquidity will depend on investor participation and trading volumes following the commencement of NSE trading.
The development also provides a wider market platform as Oriental Rail Infrastructure continues to build its railway-focused business. With India’s emphasis on modernising railway infrastructure, rolling stock and freight transportation, the company is operating within a sector that continues to receive significant investment.
With ORIRAIL now available on both BSE and NSE, Oriental Rail Infrastructure enters a new phase in its public-market presence while continuing to expand its position within India’s railway infrastructure ecosystem.
