AI-powered fleet safety and mobility solutions provider Netradyne has entered into a strategic partnership with Bharat Stars Services Private Limited (BSSPL) to enhance safety standards in aviation fuelling operations through advanced artificial intelligence and video telematics technology. The collaboration marks a significant step towards the digital transformation of airside operations at some of India’s busiest airports.

As part of the partnership, BSSPL has deployed Netradyne’s Driver•i platform across its aviation fuelling fleet operating at Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru airports. BSSPL is a joint venture between Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and ST Airport Services Pte. Ltd. (STARS), Singapore, and provides into-plane fuelling and related airport services. The deployment is aimed at strengthening operational safety in one of the most safety-critical environments within the aviation sector.

The Driver•i platform combines artificial intelligence, edge computing and computer vision to monitor vehicle movement and driver behaviour throughout every trip. The system analyses driving patterns in real time and issues in-cab alerts for unsafe practices such as distracted driving, harsh braking, speeding, tailgating and other potentially hazardous manoeuvres. In addition to identifying risk events, the platform also recognises safe driving behaviour, enabling organisations to adopt a balanced, performance-based approach to driver coaching and safety management.

Unlike conventional telematics systems that primarily record incidents after they occur, the AI-enabled solution is designed to support preventive safety by providing immediate feedback to drivers and actionable operational insights to fleet managers. The technology also offers video-based event analysis and data-driven reporting, allowing organisations to improve compliance, optimise fleet performance and strengthen overall operational efficiency.

Airport fuelling vehicles operate in highly regulated airside environments where aircraft movement, specialised equipment and strict safety protocols demand the highest levels of operational discipline. By integrating AI-driven monitoring into its fleet, BSSPL aims to minimise operational risks, improve driver awareness and reinforce established safety procedures while ensuring uninterrupted fuelling operations for airlines.

The collaboration also reflects the growing adoption of artificial intelligence across India’s transportation and aviation sectors. As airports increasingly embrace digital technologies to improve safety and operational reliability, AI-powered fleet management solutions are expected to play a greater role in supporting critical ground operations, reducing risks and enhancing service quality. For Netradyne, the partnership further expands the application of its Driver•i platform beyond conventional commercial fleets into specialised airport infrastructure and aviation support services.
