Q. Please tell us more about the new launches of Hyundai at EXCON 2025!

At EXCON 2025, Hyundai has introduced new machines that are a direct outcome of Phase-1 customer feedback. Through this process, we clearly identified a niche segment where Hyundai can deliver more efficient and practical solutions, particularly for the rental and fleet market.

We engaged with customers across different regions of the country to understand their operational challenges, especially their focus on reducing cost of ownership and operating expenses. Based on these insights, the newly launched machine features all-new hydraulics and an improved structural design, making it significantly faster, more efficient, and highly productive. In addition, we have incorporated enhanced maintenance schedules and service-friendly features, which help improve machine uptime and overall profitability. This launch truly reflects Hyundai’s promise of delivering equipment that not only performs well on site but also ensures better returns for our customers.

Q. Hyundai’s presence at EXCON 2025 stood out with an extensive showcase. What were the key experiences and highlights for visitors at your booth?

At EXCON 2025, our stall was designed to give visitors a complete sense of Hyundai’s product breadth, technology focus, and customer-centric vision. Alongside the launch of the all-new R210E excavator, which has generated a lot of excitement due to its fuel-efficient design and strong performance characteristics, we displayed our SMART X PLUS Series of excavators and BS-V compliant wheel loaders, all built around our “Built to Excel with X5 Advantage” philosophy emphasizing performance, durability, safety, convenience, and operator comfort.

Q. What kind of experience and footfall are you witnessing at this edition of EXCON 2025?

We feel extremely fortunate to witness a tremendous response and footfall at EXCON 2025. What is especially encouraging is that nearly 60-70% of the visitors are repeat customers who have come to place new orders or discuss their future equipment requirements.

Many of these customers already have plans to invest within the next couple of months, and their confidence in Hyundai has also encouraged new customers to explore our offerings. Our wide product portfolio ranging from agriculture and plantation equipment to urban infrastructure, construction, mining, and forklifts has attracted interest from diverse customer segments, making this edition of EXCON highly successful for us.

Q. At EXCON 2025, Hyundai unveiled an important new excavator. What makes the Hyundai R210E launch significant for the industry and your customers?

At EXCON 2025, Hyundai introduced the R210E excavator, a machine that underscores our commitment to delivering efficient, cost-effective, and user-friendly solutions for modern construction and infrastructure projects. This new model was developed with a clear focus on higher fuel efficiency, lower running costs, and excellent operator comfort, which are priorities for both contractors and rental fleet owners alike.

The “E” in R210E stands for Economy and that is not just a label. Thanks to its all-new hydraulic system and refined structural design, the excavator can reduce fuel consumption by up to 5% compared to previous models, without compromising performance. Under the hood, it uses a trusted Cummins 6BT engine paired with systems engineered for reliability and durability. What sets it apart is the balance it strikes delivering strong digging power, smooth control, and intelligent features that enhance both productivity and operational comfort.
