JSW Infrastructure Ltd. has set a target of handling around 127 million tonnes (MT) of cargo in FY27, up from 121.6 MT in FY26, even as operations at its Fujairah liquid storage terminal in the UAE continue to be affected following damage caused by drone debris earlier this year. The company said it remains confident of achieving its growth guidance despite the temporary disruption.
Speaking after the company’s annual results, CEO Arun Maheshwari said the disruption at Fujairah is expected to persist for some time as restoration work continues. However, he noted that the impact on the company’s overall cargo handling volumes is likely to remain limited, with domestic port operations continuing to perform strongly.
JSW Infrastructure is also pursuing expansion through acquisitions and new projects to support its long-term growth strategy. The company has reiterated its goal of increasing cargo handling capacity to 400 MT by FY30, backed by investments in ports, terminals and integrated logistics infrastructure.
The Fujairah terminal, acquired by JSW Infrastructure in 2023, suffered damage to one of its storage tanks in March 2026 after debris from an intercepted drone struck the facility amid the West Asia conflict. The company had confirmed that there were no injuries, the remaining tanks were secured and the facility was adequately insured.
