(HAL) has significantly strengthened its international business, with its export order book reaching ₹50,131 crore, including fresh export contracts worth ₹33,026 crore secured in recent years. The company’s overall order book now stands at ₹2,54,538 crore, providing strong long-term revenue visibility across its aerospace and defence manufacturing businesses.
The surge in export orders reflects HAL’s expanding presence in global defence and aerospace markets, supported by increasing demand for indigenous platforms, helicopters, aircraft components, maintenance services and advanced aerospace systems. The company has been steadily broadening its international customer base while reinforcing India’s position as an emerging exporter of defence equipment.
HAL’s robust order pipeline is underpinned by ongoing production of fighter aircraft, helicopters, aero engines and associated systems for the Indian Armed Forces, alongside a growing portfolio of overseas contracts. The company continues to focus on enhancing manufacturing capacity, strengthening research and development capabilities and accelerating project execution to meet both domestic and export commitments.
As India’s largest aerospace and defence manufacturer, HAL remains a key contributor to the government’s ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative in defence production. The expanding export portfolio and healthy order backlog are expected to support sustained production activity, technological advancement and long-term growth while reinforcing India’s ambition of becoming a major global supplier of defence and aerospace equipment.
