Dream Infrastructure, a Thane-based construction firm, has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for a major stormwater management and main nallah construction project under Maharashtra’s Nagrotthan Maha-Abhiyan. The project, valued at ₹191.58 crore, has been awarded by the Kulgaon–Badlapur Municipal Council (KBMC).
The large-scale initiative aims to strengthen the city’s drainage network and enhance flood mitigation capacity, addressing recurring monsoon-related waterlogging issues. The project involves the construction and upgradation of major stormwater drains and nallahs, designed to ensure efficient runoff management and improve overall urban resilience.
With this development, Dream Infrastructure continues to expand its presence in urban infrastructure and water management sectors across Maharashtra. The project is expected to play a crucial role in supporting the state’s efforts toward sustainable and climate-resilient city planning under the Nagrotthan Maha-Abhiyan program.
Work is likely to commence soon after necessary clearances and mobilization, with a phased execution strategy to minimize disruption during the upcoming monsoon seasons.
