Dilip Buildcon Ltd has been declared the lowest bidder (L-1) for two infrastructure projects in Maharashtra with a combined value of ₹1,839.70 crore.
The projects include a ₹1,151.47 crore power transmission project in Yavatmal and a ₹688.23 crore elevated road corridor project in Solapur.
For the Yavatmal project, Dilip Buildcon has been selected as the successful bidder by REC Power Development and Consultancy Ltd (RECPDCL) for the development and operation of an intra-state transmission system. The project involves establishing a 400 kV AIS Yavatmal (Babhulgaon) substation in Yavatmal district.
The transmission project will be implemented under the Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) model through the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) route. The bid project cost is ₹1,151.47 crore.
The construction period for the Yavatmal project is 24 months. Following the commercial operation date (COD), the project will have an operation period of 35 years.
The second project involves the construction of a four-lane elevated corridor and its approaches on NH-65 in Solapur City. The ₹688.23 crore project will connect Old Pune Naka with Boramani Naka.
The Solapur elevated corridor will have a total length of 9.66 km and will be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM). The construction period is 24 months, followed by an operation period of 15 years from the COD.
The two projects expand Dilip Buildcon’s presence across road infrastructure and power transmission. The company’s consolidated order book stood at ₹27,691 crore as of June 30, 2026.
The Yavatmal transmission project adds to the company’s recent expansion in the power transmission segment, following its selection as L-1 bidder for a ₹1,265 crore 400 kV GIS Solapur/Paranda Switching Station project in Maharashtra earlier in September.
Both projects are located in Maharashtra and cover different infrastructure segments, with the first focused on electricity transmission and the second on road connectivity.
