Keolis India Pvt. Ltd. has selected Octave Attune EAM, an advanced enterprise asset management platform, to oversee the infrastructure and operations of Pune Metro Line 3, marking a key step toward digitalised metro management in India.
The system will be used to manage the entire lifecycle of metro assets, including rolling stock, civil infrastructure, tracks, utilities, and fare collection systems, ensuring efficient monitoring and maintenance across the network.
Pune Metro Line 3, currently under construction, is a 23-km corridor with 23 stations, connecting Shivajinagar to Hinjewadi, one of the city’s largest IT hubs employing over 1.5 lakh people. The project is expected to significantly reduce travel time and ease congestion in one of Pune’s busiest corridors.
The metro line is being developed under a public-private partnership (PPP) model, with Keolis awarded a 10-year contract for operations and maintenance, further strengthening its presence in India’s urban mobility sector.
The selected platform will be deployed in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model and comes equipped with AI-driven capabilities, enabling features such as predictive maintenance, reliability-centred maintenance (RCM), and integration with ERP, BIM, and operational systems.
The deployment reflects a growing trend toward digital transformation in metro rail systems, where operators are leveraging data-driven tools and AI-based platforms to enhance safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Overall, the move positions Pune Metro Line 3 as a technology-enabled urban transit project, combining infrastructure development with advanced asset management systems to deliver efficient and future-ready public transport services.
