Technip Energies has been awarded two five-year Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) by Saudi Aramco, covering front-end engineering, project management consultancy and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for a broad range of energy and industrial projects in Saudi Arabia.
Under the first LTA, Technip Energies will provide Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and coordinating Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for Saudi Aramco projects across the energy, downstream, petrochemical and low-carbon sectors. The agreement will cover activities from the front-end development stage, with Technip Energies supporting project planning and engineering through subsequent execution phases.
The second five-year LTA covers Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services for brownfield and upgrade projects across Saudi Aramco’s onshore facilities. The scope will support the modification, expansion, modernisation and upgrading of existing assets, helping improve the performance and capabilities of the company’s operating facilities.
Together, the two agreements provide Technip Energies with a broad mandate spanning project development, engineering consultancy, project management, procurement, construction and brownfield execution. The LTAs are expected to strengthen the company’s long-standing relationship with Saudi Aramco and provide a framework for its participation in a range of future projects in the Kingdom.
Technip Energies has maintained a presence in Saudi Arabia since the 1970s, supporting the Kingdom’s energy and industrial development through engineering, technology and project execution capabilities. The latest agreements further reinforce its position as an engineering and project delivery partner for Saudi Aramco.
The agreements also cover projects spanning both conventional energy and emerging low-carbon developments, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s broader industrial and energy-transition objectives. The company’s involvement across downstream, petrochemical and low-carbon projects is expected to support the Kingdom’s efforts to expand and modernise its energy infrastructure.
The latest awards come amid Saudi Aramco’s wider use of long-term contracting arrangements to establish dedicated pools of engineering, consultancy and EPC contractors for its future capital and brownfield programmes. Aramco has been creating specialised contractor groups covering PMC and engineering services as well as brownfield EPC work, with LTAs generally providing a framework for future project opportunities.
For Technip Energies, the two agreements represent an important addition to its order pipeline in Saudi Arabia and provide a platform to participate in multiple projects rather than a single standalone development. The company will be able to draw on its engineering and project-delivery capabilities across different stages of Saudi Aramco’s investment programme.
The awards further strengthen Technip Energies’ role in Saudi Arabia’s evolving energy and industrial landscape and support the company’s continued participation in major energy, petrochemical, downstream, brownfield and low-carbon infrastructure projects across the Kingdom.
