Schweri Autokrane GmbH has once again reinforced its operational strength with the addition of the new Tadano AC 3.045 City crane, replacing its long-serving and reliable Tadano AC 40 City. Known for precision, compactness, and high performance, Tadano’s City crane series continues to be a cornerstone of Schweri Autokrane’s lifting operations.

According to Leonhard Zerni, Managing Director of Schweri Autokrane, the upgrade was a seamless transition. “The AC 40 City served us exceptionally for years, but the new AC 3.045 City takes efficiency and performance to another level. Tadano also provided an excellent trade-in offer,” he shared during the official handover at Tadano’s Lauf facility, where Sales Manager Helge Prüfer presented the new model.

The AC 3.045 City stands out for its advanced lifting technology, intelligent control systems, and superior maneuverability. Designed for maximum efficiency in confined environments, it is ideally suited for indoor and industrial operations where space constraints are a challenge.

Highlighting the machine’s advantages, Zerni remarked, “Its compact design and exceptional maneuverability make it unbeatable in tight spaces. The crane’s high lifting capacity and the IC 1 Plus control system ensure optimal load management in real time, even during complex lifting angles.”

The IC 1 Plus system intelligently calculates the maximum possible lifting capacity for every boom position, optimizing performance across varying slewing angles. Schweri Autokrane’s team is already familiar with the benefits of this feature, having operated other Tadano models like the AC 5.220-1 that include the same system.

Another key innovation is the Flex Base outrigger system, which allows the outriggers to be extended to any point within their range, an invaluable advantage at crowded job sites where every centimeter of space matters.

“With its combination of power, precision, and flexibility, this model fits our requirements perfectly,” Zerni added. “We plan to deploy the AC 3.045 City mainly for indoor projects and industrial facilities, where it can deliver maximum efficiency and safety.”

The addition of the Tadano AC 3.045 City marks yet another step in Schweri Autokrane’s ongoing commitment to innovation, reliability, and performance-driven lifting solutions, strengthening its position as a trusted name in modern crane operations.
