Ramky Infrastructure Limited has secured an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract worth ₹1,401.84 crore from Maharashtra Industrial Township Limited (MITL) for infrastructure development at the Dighi Port Industrial Area (DPIA) in Raigad district, Maharashtra. The project forms part of the industrial ecosystem being developed along the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) and aims to strengthen port-led industrial growth in the region.

The contract involves the design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning of core infrastructure for Phase-1 development of the Dighi Port Industrial Area. The scope of work includes construction of internal road networks, stormwater drainage systems, water supply infrastructure, sewage and recycled water networks, power distribution systems, and ICT utility ducts required to support industrial operations within the township.

The project will also include the operation and maintenance of the developed infrastructure for a period of four years, ensuring reliable performance and service delivery for the industrial zone.

According to Sunil Nair, CEO of Ramky Infrastructure Limited, the project represents a significant milestone for the company in the industrial infrastructure segment.
“Securing this order for the Dighi Port Industrial Area reflects our capability to deliver complex infrastructure projects and strengthens our presence in large industrial corridor developments,” he said.

The infrastructure package is expected to be executed within 930 days, creating a robust foundation for industrial investments in the Dighi region. The project is being developed by Maharashtra Industrial Township Limited, a special purpose vehicle established by the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra to develop integrated industrial townships along the DMIC corridor.

The Dighi Port Industrial Area is being planned as a strategic industrial hub linked to maritime logistics, leveraging its proximity to Dighi Port and key transport corridors connecting Mumbai, Pune, and the Konkan region. Once completed, the project is expected to enhance industrial connectivity and attract investments in sectors such as manufacturing, engineering, and logistics.
