Palfinger introduces FLM 15 electric truck-mounted forklift for efficient urban logistics.

Palfinger AG has introduced the FLM 15 electric truck-mounted forklift, expanding its FL range with a compact, lightweight solution designed for evolving logistics requirements, particularly in urban, retail, and beverage distribution segments.

The FLM 15 is built around a middle-seat configuration, offering improved visibility and operator control, and is engineered to deliver high efficiency in confined working environments. With a load capacity of 1.5 tonnes and a starting weight of approximately 1,420–1,430 kg, the model is positioned among the lightest in its class, enabling easier transport and enhanced payload efficiency.

A key highlight is its fully electric variant, which supports low-noise and zero-emission operations, making it suitable for urban deliveries, indoor handling, and time-sensitive logistics such as early morning or night operations. The electric configuration also addresses increasing regulatory and sustainability requirements across logistics networks.

The forklift features a compact mast design, responsive controls, and precise handling capabilities, allowing operators to manage delicate goods such as glass and packaged retail products with greater control. Its telescopic fork system and optimised wheel layout further enhance manoeuvrability and unloading efficiency, even in narrow access areas.

From an operational standpoint, the FLM 15 incorporates an elevated central seating position, providing 360-degree visibility, along with safety-focused design elements such as external hydraulic routing, wide roof protection, and reinforced side panels to improve both safety and ergonomics.

The launch completes Palfinger’s FL series portfolio, which now includes side-seat and middle-seat configurations across diesel and electric variants, supporting a wide range of logistics and material handling applications. The FLM 15 and its electric version are currently available for order in EMEA markets.

With this introduction, Palfinger is strengthening its position in the truck-mounted forklift segment by aligning product development with compact design requirements, electrification trends, and the growing demand for efficient last-mile logistics solutions.
