OM Infra Emerges as L1 Bidder for ₹482.27-Crore Rajasthan Irrigation Project

OM Infra Ltd. has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for a ₹482.27-crore Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) turnkey project awarded by the Water Resources Department (WRD), Rajasthan. The company is awaiting the issuance of the Letter of Intent (LoI), which will be issued after completion of the department’s internal procedures.

The project pertains to the Andheri Medium Irrigation Project in Chhabra tehsil of Baran district, Rajasthan. It involves the survey, design, construction, operation and maintenance of a dam along with the development of a pressurised irrigation network and piped canal system on an EPC turnkey basis.

According to the company, the irrigation network will incorporate pressurised water distribution, solar power integration and SCADA-based automation to improve water management and irrigation efficiency. Once completed, the project is expected to benefit nearly 10,000 hectares of agricultural land in the region.

OM Infra said emerging as the L1 bidder reflects its expertise in executing complex civil engineering projects, including dams, hydro-mechanical works and advanced micro-irrigation systems. The project is expected to further strengthen the company’s presence in the water infrastructure segment, subject to the formal award of the contract.
