NOCIL Limited has commissioned a new rubber chemicals manufacturing facility at Dahej, Gujarat, built with an investment of approximately ₹250 crore, marking a significant expansion of its production capabilities.

The newly operational plant is focused on manufacturing anti-degradants, particularly under the Pilnox TDQ/TMQ product range, which are critical additives used to enhance the durability, thermal stability, and ageing resistance of rubber compounds, especially in tyre manufacturing and industrial rubber applications.

Located within the Dahej Petroleum, Chemical and Petrochemical Investment Region (PCPIR), the facility benefits from strong industrial infrastructure, proximity to raw material sources, and port connectivity, enabling efficient logistics and export capabilities.

The commissioning of this plant significantly boosts NOCIL’s production capacity, allowing the company to better cater to both domestic demand and global markets, particularly at a time when supply chains in the specialty chemicals sector are undergoing realignment.

The facility has been developed with a focus on process efficiency, operational safety, and environmental considerations, incorporating controlled manufacturing systems to ensure consistent product quality while aligning with sustainability requirements in chemical production.

This expansion comes amid rising demand from the automotive and tyre industries, where performance-enhancing rubber chemicals play a crucial role. By increasing local manufacturing capacity, NOCIL is also contributing to strengthening India’s self-reliance in the rubber chemicals segment and reducing dependence on imports.

With the commissioning of the Dahej facility, NOCIL reinforces its position as a key player in the rubber chemicals industry, while enhancing its ability to support evolving requirements of the global rubber and mobility sectors.
