The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has awarded a ₹176.56 crore contract to DMR Builders Pvt Ltd for the upgradation of the Dhule–Pimpalgaon stretch of National Highway-60 in Maharashtra.
The project focuses on capacity augmentation and infrastructure improvement, aimed at easing congestion and enhancing overall road safety on this key corridor. As part of the scope, the development will include construction of service roads and a flyover, ensuring smoother traffic movement and better connectivity.
The upgraded stretch is expected to play a crucial role in facilitating efficient movement of passenger and freight traffic, particularly in a region that serves as an important link for logistics and regional connectivity.
The project will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) model, with NHAI overseeing implementation to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
This development aligns with NHAI’s broader strategy to strengthen national highway infrastructure, improve travel efficiency, and support economic growth through enhanced road connectivity across the country.
