Mr. Piero Guizzetti, CEO, MB Crusher India Pvt. Ltd.

MB Crusher India CEO Piero Guizzetti explains growth opportunities, on-site recycling benefits, eco-friendly attachment design, and rising adoption of crusher buckets and drum cutters across India’s construction, mining, and demolition sectors.
MB Crusher India CEO Piero Guizzetti shares insights on India’s growing demand for versatile attachments, the rising importance of on-site recycling, and the company’s focus on emissions reduction, versatility, and high ROI for contractors.

In India, we’ve been particularly active in promoting on-site recycling. Every tonne of concrete or asphalt crushed and reused locally reduces truck movement, fuel, and landfill burden — that’s an environmental saving contractors can measure directly

Q. India continues to be a high-growth market for MB Crusher, and you’ve been expanding your product range here. What are the biggest challenges you’re facing right now — regulatory, logistical, or customer behaviour related — and how are you addressing them?

India’s opportunity and challenge are two sides of the same coin — scale and diversity. Regulations vary by state, logistics can be complex in remote zones, and contractor maturity ranges from highly mechanized to largely manual operations.

We’ve responded by building a more localized ecosystem. That includes technical partnerships for carrier compatibility, regional product training for operators, and deeper dealer penetration to reduce delivery and service lead times.

On the customer side, awareness is improving rapidly. Contractors today understand lifecycle cost, not just initial price. We are focusing our communication on productivity per litre of diesel and time saved per cubic metre — metrics that Indian contractors now value deeply.

Q. Environmental performance is becoming a critical differentiator. What steps has MB Crusher taken to reduce emissions (via improved hydraulics or compatibility with low-emission carriers), lower noise and dust levels, and make your attachments more eco-friendly?

Environmental responsibility is embedded in how MB Crusher designs attachments. Our all products are hydraulically driven, eliminating the need for additional engines. That automatically reduces emissions, as they work off the carrier’s hydraulic circuit.

In India, we’ve been particularly active in promoting on-site recycling. Every tonne of oncrete or asphalt crushed and reused locally reduces truck movement, fuel, and landfill burden — that’s an environmental saving contractors can measure directly.

Q. Among your current product portfolio crushers buckets drum cutters, sorting grapples — which categories are seeing the fastest adoption in India? What product features or use cases are resonating most with Indian contractors?

Crusher buckets remain our flagship, and adoption continues to grow strongly, particularly in road and urban redevelopment projects. Contractors appreciate how easily they integrate with excavators already on site, turning waste into usable material without secondary handling.

However, drum cutters and sorting grapples are gaining fast. The demand is coming from sectors
like controlled demolition, pipeline trenching, and recycling — where precision, compact size, and noise control are key. Indian customers value versatility above all.

A single MB Crusher attachment can perform multiple tasks — crushing, screening, sorting — without needing dedicated machinery. That efficiency and ROI are what’s driving the uptake.

Q. Looking ahead 3–5 years, which application segments do you see as the strongest growth drivers for MB Crusher in India — mining, infrastructure, demolition & recycling, rental, M-sand, or municipal waste management?

We see strong momentum in three verticals: infrastructure (especially road and rail redevelopment), mining and quarrying, and
demolition recycling.

Urban redevelopment projects and smart city initiatives are driving demand for compact, versatile attachments that can process material on-site with minimal disruption. Meanwhile, in mining and quarrying, efficiency and material reuse are taking center stage — and that’s where our attachments shine.

The rental segment is another fast-emerging driver. As more contractors opt for asset-light models, demand for easily interchangeable, low-maintenance attachments will keep rising. MB Crusher is positioning itself right at that intersection of flexibility, performance, and sustainability.
