L&T executing large-scale road infrastructure project in Dubai
Larsen & Toubro secures a ₹10,002.50 crore international road development contract in Dubai, strengthening its Middle East infrastructure footprint and overseas order book.

Larsen & Toubro Ltd (L&T) has secured a major international contract valued at ₹10,002.50 crore for a road development project in Dubai, marking one of the largest overseas road infrastructure wins for the Indian engineering and construction giant.

Under the contract, L&T will be responsible for the design, engineering and construction of extensive roadworks and associated infrastructure in Dubai. While detailed scope specifics such as exact alignment length and construction components are being finalised, the project is part of Dubai’s ongoing efforts to upgrade and expand its urban mobility corridors, improve traffic flows, and support long-term economic activity through enhanced connectivity.

The contract win reflects L&T’s growing footprint in the Middle East infrastructure market, where it has been successfully executing a range of large-scale projects across transport, energy, metropolitan transit and utility sectors. The company’s experience in delivering complex engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects has positioned it as a preferred partner in the region’s rapid infrastructure expansion.

This award also underscores the strong international demand for Indian EPC expertise in major global infrastructure programmes. Projects of this scale are expected to provide significant work-flow visibility over the coming years and contribute positively to L&T’s international order book.

L&T’s overseas project portfolio has been expanding steadily, with recent contract wins in areas such as metro networks, grid infrastructure and power transmission across Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) markets. The Dubai road development contract complements this pipeline and emphasises the company’s strategic focus on diversified global operations.

With construction set to begin in the near future, the Dubai road project is anticipated to help improve regional connectivity while further cementing L&T’s position as a key player in global infrastructure execution.
