KONE Elevator India Strengthens Andhra Pradesh Operations With New Office in Visakhapatnam

KONE Elevator India has expanded its footprint in Andhra Pradesh with the launch of a new office in Visakhapatnam, reinforcing its commitment to delivering smarter and more sustainable urban mobility solutions across the state. The move forms part of KONE’s global strategy, Rise, which focuses on shaping future-ready cities through innovation and customer-centric services.

The office was inaugurated by Members of the Legislative Assembly, Shri V. Ramakrishna Babu and Shri CH Vamsi Krishna Srinivas, in the presence of Amit Gossain, Managing Director, KONE India and South Asia. The new facility positions the company closer to customers in Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, and the East and West Godavari districts, enabling faster support for sales, installation, service, and modernization activities.

Designed as both a working office and an experience centre, the Visakhapatnam facility will allow visitors to explore KONE’s latest digital technologies, design options, and energy-efficient elevator and escalator solutions. The company aims to use the centre as a platform for deeper engagement with builders, developers, hospitals, educational institutions, residential projects and government organisations across the region.

KONE already works with several prominent projects and institutions in Andhra Pradesh, including Sheraton Four Points, Hotel Green Park, Bhima’s Jewelers, Westside, Tech Mahindra, Andhra University, and Dr. L. B. College. The new office is expected to further strengthen its partnerships and enhance service reach.

Speaking at the inauguration, Amit Gossain said that Visakhapatnam’s rapid growth and strong blend of heritage and modern development make it an important market for the company. “Our goal is to bring smarter, safer, and more sustainable mobility solutions closer to our customers here,” he said, thanking the attending MLAs for their support.
