Kalind Ltd has entered into a framework agreement with Dharan Infra-EPC Ltd (Dharan Group) to jointly explore and execute infrastructure projects across select African markets, marking the company’s expansion into overseas infrastructure opportunities.
Under the agreement, the two companies will collaborate in identifying, bidding for and executing projects in sectors including power transmission and distribution, water infrastructure, transportation and other civil infrastructure. The partnership is intended to leverage the technical expertise and execution capabilities of both organisations to participate in infrastructure development initiatives across the African continent.
Kalind said the framework agreement establishes the basis for future cooperation and does not create any immediate financial commitment or guarantee the award of projects. Specific contracts, timelines and commercial terms will be finalised separately for individual projects as and when opportunities materialise.
The company stated that the collaboration aligns with its strategy to expand its international footprint and diversify its project portfolio beyond the domestic market. By partnering with Dharan Group, Kalind aims to strengthen its presence in emerging infrastructure markets while pursuing long-term growth opportunities in Africa.
The development was disclosed by Kalind Ltd through a regulatory filing, with the company noting that further announcements will be made as and when definitive project agreements are executed.
