Jindal Stainless has entered into a Technical Assistance Agreement with Japan’s JFE Steel Corporation to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities for selected ferritic stainless steel grades.
Under the agreement, JFE Steel will provide technical assistance to Jindal Stainless aimed at enhancing product quality, manufacturing practices and process efficiency for the grades covered under the arrangement.

The agreement is part of Jindal Stainless’ broader focus on technology, manufacturing efficiency and the development of higher-value stainless steel products. The company reported an annual turnover of ₹42,955 crore in FY26 and has an annual melt capacity of 4.2 million tonnes. Its manufacturing and processing network comprises 16 facilities across India and overseas.
For Jindal Stainless, the technical cooperation provides access to JFE Steel’s expertise in ferritic stainless steel and is intended to further strengthen manufacturing practices and maintain product quality across the specified grades.
No separate financial consideration has been disclosed for the agreement, with the arrangement centred on technical cooperation and manufacturing improvement.
