J Infratech Limited has secured a significant infrastructure project worth ₹116.43 crore from the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. (NHIDCL) under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways. The project focuses on the reconstruction of select portions of the Jhanji–Demow section of NH-37 (Old) in Assam, covering 20.44 km between Km 514.360 and Km 534.800.

The company has officially received the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) and is required to complete the entire scope of work within an accelerated four-month deadline, highlighting both the urgency and strategic importance of the project.

The stretch forms an essential roadway connecting prominent industrial and commercial hubs in Upper Assam. Upgradation of this corridor is expected to improve overall mobility, enhance safety parameters, and streamline traffic flow for both passenger and freight movement. The reconstruction is also aligned with the government’s broader mission of improving logistics efficiency and driving balanced socio-economic development across the Northeast.

This award strengthens our commitment toward quality infrastructure delivery and nation-building. With our strong execution capabilities and focus on timely completion, we aim to deliver the project within the stipulated timeframe while adhering to top engineering and safety standards.”

The company’s involvement is expected to boost regional connectivity and contribute to faster economic growth in eastern India, particularly in areas dependent on robust highway networks.
