Hyundai Motor Group has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Singapore’s Economic Development Board (EDB) to jointly explore and develop next-generation low-carbon and hydrogen-based technologies.
The collaboration aims to strengthen Singapore’s position as a hub for clean energy innovation while supporting Hyundai’s global sustainability roadmap. The partnership will be anchored at the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Centre Singapore (HMGICS), which will serve as a platform for joint research, testing, and scaling of hydrogen-powered solutions.
As part of the initiative, both parties will work together to explore the integration of hydrogen into Singapore’s existing pipeline network and promote the development of a regional clean hydrogen ecosystem. The alliance will also focus on fostering local partnerships and accelerating the adoption of hydrogen technologies across industrial and mobility applications.
Through this strategic partnership, Hyundai and the EDB aim to drive innovation in sustainable energy systems and contribute to the broader decarbonization goals of the region, aligning with global efforts toward a carbon-neutral future.
