The LOA was dated August 25, 2026, and the contract has been awarded through a competitive bidding process.

Under the contract, HMPL will act as the user fee collection agency at Paranur Fee Plaza, located at km 52.820 on the Tambaram–Tindivanam section of NH-45, covering the stretch from km 28.000 to km 74.500. The scope also includes the upkeep and maintenance of adjacent toilet blocks and replenishment of consumable items.

The contract carries a total consideration of ₹193,85,14,635, equivalent to ₹193.85 crore. It is classified as a domestic order, with the principal nature of work being the collection of user fees at the designated toll plaza. The execution period for the contract is one year.

The latest award adds a sizeable NHAI contract to HMPL’s infrastructure-linked operations portfolio. The company’s recent order wins have included multiple user fee collection assignments from NHAI, strengthening its presence in the highway operations segment.

The Paranur Fee Plaza is located on the Tambaram–Tindivanam corridor of NH-45, an important highway section in Tamil Nadu. Through the new contract, HMPL will be responsible for the operational requirements associated with user fee collection as well as specified maintenance activities at the facility during the contract period.

The ₹193.85-crore order represents a significant addition to the company’s near-term project pipeline and further expands its engagement with NHAI in highway-related operations.
