Navsari received a major infrastructure boost as Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the city’s new state-of-the-art bus port, alongside announcing a series of development projects valued at more than ₹475 crore.

The newly opened bus port, designed on the lines of airport-style facilities, features modern passenger amenities including enhanced waiting areas, retail zones, improved accessibility features, and upgraded safety systems. Developed at a cost of nearly ₹82 crore, the facility marks another milestone in the state’s ongoing initiative to transform conventional bus stations into high-quality transport hubs.

During the event, the government also detailed additional development works planned across the district. These projects cover urban infrastructure upgrades, public amenities, civic enhancements, and improvements to local transportation networks aimed at supporting Navsari’s rapid growth following its elevation to municipal corporation status.

Officials noted that the combined efforts are intended to improve mobility, strengthen public services, and deliver more resilient urban infrastructure for residents. The inauguration reinforces Gujarat’s continued focus on building modern, people-centric infrastructure across its key cities.
