In its 141st board meeting, the Greater Noida Authority approved major mobility upgrades, including a 1.8 km elevated metro corridor connecting the Greater Noida Depot with a new Multimodal Transport Hub (MMTH).
The board also finalized the inclusion of both the MMTH and a Multimodal Logistics Hub (MMLH) in the Greater Noida Master Plan 2041, signaling long-term investment in integrated transport infrastructure.
A pivotal part of the plan is a railway alignment that will link the MMLH to the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) near New Dadri station. This integration aims to streamline goods movement between key industrial destinations, including Mumbai and Kolkata.
Greater Noida Authority CEO Ravi Kumar NG said that these initiatives, together with the development of an Integrated Industrial Township, are central to bolstering industrial and transport connectivity in the region.
