G R Infraprojects Signs ₹91.60 Crore Concession Agreement for Varanasi Logistics Park

G R Infraprojects Limited has signed a concession agreement worth ₹91.60 crore for the development, operation and maintenance of a Multi Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The agreement was signed on October 15, 2026, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Fourwrd MMLP Varanasi Private Limited, with Varanasi MMLP Limited.

The project will be developed under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model on a Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis. The construction period is one year from the appointed date, while the total concession period is 45 years, including the construction phase.

The logistics park is intended to integrate road, rail and inland waterway connectivity to facilitate freight movement and improve supply chain efficiency. Its strategic location along the Ganga is expected to strengthen Varanasi’s role as a logistics hub for eastern India, with connectivity to the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor and National Waterway-1.

The project marks another step in G R Infraprojects’ efforts to expand beyond its traditional road infrastructure business into multimodal logistics infrastructure. The company plans to develop the project through its Fourmativ development management platform, supporting its broader strategy of building integrated logistics assets.

The development is aligned with India’s efforts to strengthen multimodal transportation networks, improve freight handling and reduce logistics costs through better integration of road, rail and inland waterways.

The ₹91.60 crore agreement adds to G R Infraprojects’ infrastructure portfolio, while the long-term concession provides an opportunity to participate in the development and operation of logistics infrastructure in the region.
