Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has signed an agreement with German manufacturer Kemroc to distribute Kemroc’s cutting-edge excavator and backhoe loader attachments across India.
Under the pact, L&T will market and supply Kemroc’s patented EK series chain cutters along with their global range of special attachments — including drum cutters, cutter wheels, pile cutters, trenchers, drill augers, and other excavation tools that are widely used worldwide.
Kemroc, founded in Germany in 2012, introduced this advanced range in 2017. The EK chain cutters and related attachments are designed for applications such as rock trenching, tunneling, foundation excavation, demolition, roadworks, quarrying, underwater excavation, and more — offering high efficiency, precision, and reliability for demanding construction and infrastructure projects.
With this strategic partnership, L&T intends to broaden its construction-equipment portfolio, offering comprehensive end-to-end solutions to the Indian market. Alongside its existing offerings — including crusher buckets, rock breakers, quick couplers, demolition tools, and piling solutions — L&T will now add Kemroc’s world-class attachments to its product lineup.
The collaboration is expected to strengthen L&T’s capabilities in infrastructure, mining, and heavy-duty construction sectors, enabling contractors to leverage enhanced productivity and operational flexibility.
