Concord Control Systems Limited has secured a ₹53.73 crore order for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of On-board KAVACH 4.0 equipment for Indian Railways. The contract has been awarded through Progota India Private Limited, an associate company of Concord Control Systems.
The order pertains to the deployment of KAVACH 4.0, an advanced indigenous train collision avoidance system designed to enhance railway safety and operational efficiency. The project is to be executed within a period of 12 months.
According to the company’s regulatory filing submitted to BSE Limited under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the contract is domestic in nature. The scope includes end-to-end execution covering supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the on-board systems.
The company confirmed that the promoter or promoter group has no interest in the awarding entity. It further clarified that the order does not fall under related party transactions.
The development reinforces Concord Control Systems’ position in railway signalling and safety systems, aligning with Indian Railways’ continued push toward modernisation and enhanced operational safety through the implementation of KAVACH technology.
