CPCL drives India’s highway monetisation push with expert due diligence across 2,250 km of national corridors.

Chaitanya Projects Consultancy Limited (CPCL) has successfully completed technical due diligence for more than 2,250 km of national highways across India, supporting the National Highways Authority of India’s (NHAI) asset monetisation programme. The assessed highway stretches together account for over ₹35,000 crore in monetisation potential, marking a major contribution to India’s growing infrastructure financing ecosystem.

The consultancy’s evaluation covered several key corridors in states such as Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and West Bengal. Among the important stretches reviewed were Lalitpur–Lakhnadon, Gwalior-Jhansi, Krishnagar-Baharampore, Chitradurga-Hubballi, and Gundugolanu–Kovvuru. CPCL also undertook assessments for assets under IRB Infrastructure Trust, Cube Highways, and the National Highways Infra Trust (NHIT), which form a significant part of India’s Toll Operate Transfer (TOT) and InvIT-based monetisation pipeline.

Reflecting on the achievement, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Sinha, Founder and Managing Director of CPCL, said that the company remains focused on promoting transparent, data-backed, and sustainable development of transportation infrastructure. He noted that completing due diligence for highway assets valued at more than ₹35,000 crore is an important step in strengthening investor confidence and enabling capital inflow for new connectivity projects.

For this assignment, CPCL carried out extensive technical, financial, and environmental examinations to ensure each corridor aligned with national standards for safety, structural reliability, operational performance, and long-term investment viability. Its work has helped streamline NHAI’s asset recycling efforts, enabling smoother transactions under the TOT and InvIT models.
With this milestone, CPCL continues to play a key role in improving the efficiency and quality of India’s national highway network while supporting the country’s broader infrastructure growth strategy.
