Capacit’e Infraprojects has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) worth approximately ₹368.98 crore from Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) for construction works near Thirumangalam Metro Station in Chennai.

The order, valued at ₹368.98 crore excluding GST, covers the construction of buildings along the viaduct and on open land parcels near the metro station. The scope includes civil construction, architectural finishes, plumbing, electrical and mechanical works, ventilation and air-conditioning, lifts and other associated works.

The contract expands Capacit’e Infraprojects’ exposure to public-sector infrastructure projects and adds a major metro-related construction assignment to its existing portfolio. The company said the work order was received in the normal course of business and forms part of its ordinary civil contracting operations.

Commenting on the order, Rahul Katyal, Managing Director, Capacit’e Infraprojects, said the company was proud to be associated with Chennai Metro Rail Limited and described the project as a significant milestone that would further strengthen its presence in the public sector.

Katyal also said the confidence placed in the company’s execution capabilities reflects its focus on delivering complex infrastructure projects with quality, safety and efficiency. He added that the company looks forward to contributing to urban transport development and strengthening its position as an infrastructure execution partner.

The Chennai Metro order comes as Capacit’e Infraprojects continues to build its project pipeline across different segments. The company had earlier secured an order worth around ₹741 crore from Mahindra Lifespaces in August 2026 for core and shell construction works at residential projects in Mumbai.

Capacit’e Infraprojects provides construction services across residential, commercial and institutional projects. The latest CMRL contract adds a public infrastructure project to this portfolio and strengthens the company’s presence in Chennai’s urban infrastructure sector.

The ₹368.98-crore contract is expected to add to the company’s execution pipeline, with the project covering multiple building and associated engineering services around the Thirumangalam Metro Station area.
