Bondada Engineering Limited has announced the receipt of a major engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract worth ₹1,050 crore from the Adani Group for developing a 650 MW solar power project in Khavda, Gujarat.

Under the agreement, Bondada Engineering will be responsible for the complete balance of system (BoS) works, including design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar plant. The company will also oversee associated civil, structural, and electrical works to ensure the project’s timely completion and operational efficiency.

The Khavda solar park, located in Gujarat’s Kutch region, is among the largest renewable energy development zones in India, envisioned to play a central role in achieving the nation’s ambitious 500 GW renewable energy capacity target by 2030.

In a statement, Bondada Engineering highlighted that this contract strengthens its position as a trusted EPC partner for large-scale renewable projects and demonstrates its growing capabilities in executing utility-scale solar installations across diverse terrains.

The company added that the project aligns with its mission to contribute to India’s clean energy transition and support the creation of sustainable infrastructure. Once operational, the 650 MW solar project will significantly add to the country’s green power generation and help reduce carbon emissions.
