Anant Raj to develop a ₹4,500 crore next-gen data centre in Andhra Pradesh, boosting the state’s digital infrastructure and job creation.

Anant Raj Limited has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh government to develop a large-scale, next-generation data centre and cloud services facility in the state. The project, valued at ₹4,500 crore, will be executed by the company’s subsidiary, Anant Raj Cloud Pvt. Ltd. (ARCPL), and will be rolled out in two development phases.

As part of the partnership, the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board will act as the nodal agency to streamline clearances and coordinate with various departments, ensuring smooth and timely implementation of the project.

The upcoming facility is expected to significantly expand the state’s digital infrastructure capacity. According to initial estimates, the project will generate 8,500 direct jobs and around 7,500 indirect employment opportunities, strengthening Andhra Pradesh’s position as a growing destination for technology and data infrastructure investments.

The initiative also aligns with Anant Raj’s broader national strategy. The company already has 307 MW of data centre capacity under development across India, and this project further reinforces its ambition to emerge as one of the country’s leading players in cloud and digital infrastructure.

Once operational, the data centre complex is expected to support large enterprises, cloud service providers, and digital-first businesses, contributing to Andhra Pradesh’s evolving tech ecosystem and its vision of becoming a major digital hub in South India.
