Kurukshetra, Haryana:
Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for a series of development projects worth nearly ₹900 crore in Haryana. The event, held in Kurukshetra, marked a significant step towards improving infrastructure, public welfare, and law enforcement facilities in the state.
The projects include the construction and modernization of key public infrastructure, expansion of police and administrative facilities, and the development of civic amenities aimed at enhancing ease of living for residents. Several projects were inaugurated, while foundation stones were laid for others covering sectors such as healthcare, connectivity, education, and urban development.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Amit Shah praised Haryana’s rapid pace of development and highlighted the central government’s commitment to ensuring balanced regional growth. He noted that the initiatives will not only improve infrastructure but also generate new employment opportunities and boost the local economy.
He also spoke about the implementation of the new criminal laws, emphasizing that the changes will make the justice delivery system more transparent, efficient, and citizen-centric. The Home Minister commended the Haryana government for its efforts in maintaining law and order, and for aligning state policies with national development goals.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, along with several senior officials and public representatives, attended the event. The dignitaries also visited an exhibition dedicated to the new legal reforms and public awareness initiatives.
With these projects, Haryana aims to strengthen its infrastructure network, enhance administrative efficiency, and accelerate its journey toward sustainable and inclusive growth.
