Construction Mirror Interview

Q.Could you walk us through the vision and mission of Trident International, and how the company is leading the way in innovation and excellence within the tire industry?

Trident was established in 1997 and specialises in the design, development, manufacture & supply of industrial tires and value-added solutions that are aimed at eliminating tire related downtime, reducing operating costs and enhancing safety. At Trident constantly pushing boundaries is way of life, there is an unrelenting focus on meeting and exceeding expectations, be it customer service or product performance! By integrating innovative design features, developing application-specific compounds, and creating unique tread patterns, we design tires that address common challenges like frequent punctures, rapid wear, damage, and blowout risks, ensuring superior performance and safety.

Q.What are Trident’s expansion plans for the Solid Skid Steer Tire and Solid Scissor Lift Tires segments? What key strategies are in place to grow in these markets?

Looking towards the future, Trident is focused on backward integration for business expansion. The company is investing in additional manufacturing capacity, tire testing & performance validation capabilities. We have a customer first, purpose driven strategy to drive business growth which include developing innovative products, specific offerings for both OEM & AFM aimed at making Trident the preferred supply partner.

Q.What makes Trident stand out from competitors in the tire industry? Why should customers choose Trident over other brands, and what gives your company a competitive edge in this highly dynamic market?

Trident’s focus has been to develop a deep understanding of customers application and tire related problems and develop application specific tires & services that reduce machine downtime by eliminating punctures, improve safety, increase tire life and reduce tire maintenance. Design models are virtually simulated at the development stage, then tested extensively in our in-house endurance machine and then mounted on in-house equipment procured specifically for performance validation, so the tires you buy are the tires that will get the job done!! “Performance Not Promises”.

Q.Could you elaborate on some of the unique offerings from Trident, such as Solid Industrial Tires and Over Tire Tracks? How do these products differentiate your brand in the market?

Trident has widest range of sizes and patterns of solid skid steer, telehandler & boom lift tires including a a unique non directional R4 pattern for which we received potent from the USPTO. We have also developed a complementary range of pneumatic skid steer, telehandler & boom lift tires so customers can get a wider selection of tires from a single source. These are offered as tires or as ready to fit tire & wheel assemblies. We are also first company in India to make Overtire tracks (OTT’s) for skid steer loaders. These OTT’s are a force multiplier and increase the skid steer loader capabilities by improving traction, flotation, and versatility to operate virtually in any environment. Made from abrasion-resistant hardened steel, they protect tires and are easily adjustable for different wheelbases and mounting/ demounting can be done easily and quickly on site. OTT’s help skid steer operators work in conditions that they normally couldn’t work in at a modest cost, thus increasing their efficiency, productivity, profitability & return on investment. All products are manufactured under our registered brand TRAXTER.

Q.Can you highlight some of the key milestones Trident has achieved in the last five years, and how these accomplishments have shaped the company’s growth and reputation?

2. A patented Solid Tire Performance Monitoring System (SMARTIRE) that monitors various parameters critical to tire safety and longevity.

3. A reinforced foam filling compound that reduces the carbon footprint by over 35%. Trident endeavours to be the go to partner for customers looking for a long term reliable, responsive and reliable partner for their tire requirements.
