At Bauma , We are quite excited about the interest shown by the OEM Manufacturers , Distributors, and mechanics in exploring our Hydraulic filters for their excavators and Rock breaker application that we have launched in the recent period . We also had visitors from Russia , UAE , Nepal & Bangladesh who are all in the deep need of quality & cost-effective filtration for their market.

Filtrec is a leading Hydraulic Filtration company having presence in global market & India for last 3 decades. Filtrec is one of the world’s largest producers of Hydraulic & process filters, filter assemblies and replacement filter elements. Within a short span we have gained confidence of majority of core sector industries like Construction Equipment’s , Paper & Pulp , Mining , Power, Coal, Gas , Iron & Steel, Aluminum and Oil Refineries etc. Our Product portfolio includes Pressure / Return line filters and replacement elements, spin-on elements, suction strainers , Air / Filler breathers and Level Gauges etc.
Q.What are the new opportunities and challenges that you see for construction industries?
As I understood from the latest budget release , the capital investment outlay for FY23-24 got increased 3 times that of FY19- 20. Government have increased the allocation in NHAI and PM Awas Yojana scheme by 25% and 66 % resp and this will boost up the road construction & affordable housing sector . Other sectors of healthcare, logistics and irrigation and renewable energy also have received surge in budget allocation, and this will improve the overall economy. But the challenges could be of delay in land acquisition , in adequate manpower , delay in getting the permits and rise in commodities prices of construction material. Commodity price increase can be offsetted by the innovation and cost optimization in Product, Process and people. Q.If we talk about future of construction and infrastructure, what are your outlooks on that?
Construction equipment industry have remained flat in 2022 with 83,000 Machines but increased the usage rate of the current fleets . CE industry expected to grow by 9 % in 2023 and 7 % fall in 2024 ( election & new govt formation might cause some delay in implementation ) and followed by 9 % growth in 2025 and 8 % growth in 2026.The CE number in 2026 will be equivalent to ever highest number of 2018. With respect to Infrastructure , it is very evident that Cement production (31.3 MT) and Steel consumption (10.4MMT) and Power consumption (39000 MU) are 5% to 6 % better than pre COVID level of Dec 19. GST collection , number of E waybills , Train and Air freight traffic also showing healthier growth of 10 % better than Pre Covid level of Dec 19.
