Bengaluru’s Green Metro Line Extension from Nagasandra to Madhavaran stretch all set to open on November 7

In an official announcement of the government the most awaited 3.14 km extension of the Namma Metro Green Line from Nagasandra to Madhavaran opens fro commercial operations on November which is going to boost the Bengaluru metro connectivity.

 

The approval of this project comes after the statutory clearance which was followed by a inspection of the stretch bt the Commissioner of Metro Railway (Southern Circle).

 

DK Shivakumar, Karnataka’s Deputy Chief Minister, tool the metro for the test soin who was joined by Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya travelling Yeshwanthpur Metro Station to Madhavara.

This stretch falls under the Phase 2 of the project which is going to introduce three new stations:- Majunathanagar, Chikkabidarakallu, and Madhavara (BIEC).

Banglore Metro Rail Corporation Limited has shared in an official statement that the line will be completed at a cost of Rs 1, 168 crore. This project will provide easier access to the Banglore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) which is the major event hub in the Karnataka.
