CBRE appoints Apratim Mitra as India Head – Digital and Technology
CBRE South Asia Pvt. Ltd, India's leading real estate consulting firm, today announced the appointment of Apratim Mitra as Head of Digital & Technology (D&T) India. In his role, Apratim will oversee CBRE’s technology enablement teams in India. He joins CBRE from Bank of America, where he served as Senior Vice President, Tech Division. Apratim has more than two decades of experience in digital and technology in the financial services and consulting sectors. In his role at CBRE, Apratim will be responsible for prioritizing, defining, and delivering technology solutions; fostering a culture of innovation, agility, empowerment; and driving product development as part of CBRE’s global D&T team. Earlier this year, CBRE announced a plan to further invest in its India Digital & Technology capability comprising Product Managers, Enterprise Architects, Security Analysts, Engineers, Data Scientists, and Software Technology Professionals. Apratim will lead the capability build-out for the India team in the coming year. CBRE’s India D&T Center includes the Gurugram, Noida, and Hyderabad offices and serves as the largest dedicated development Centre outside of the United States.

Apratim holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Telecom Engineering from Jadavpur University in Kolkata, India, and a degree in Management Information Systems from Stevens Tech in New Jersey, U.S.
