Kirloskar Brothers Limited wins ₹214 crore contract from Adani Power to supply circulating and auxiliary cooling water pumps for thermal power projects across India.

Kirloskar Brothers Limited has secured a significant contract worth ₹214 crore from Adani Power Limited and its subsidiaries for the supply of circulating water pumps and auxiliary cooling water pumps for multiple thermal power projects in India.

The contract covers the supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of pump packages, including Circulating Water Pumps based on concrete volute pump technology and Auxiliary Cooling Water Pumps, along with associated electrical and control systems. The equipment will be deployed across thermal power projects located in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, and Bihar.

According to the company’s official intimation, the order has been awarded by Adani Power Limited and its subsidiaries, including Anuppur Thermal Energy (MP) Pvt. Ltd. and Korba Power Limited. The contract execution timeline is expected to be completed within 18 to 24 months from the date of the purchase order.

The payment terms for the contract will follow a phased structure, with payment within 30 days after receipt of goods at the delivery point, and the balance to be released upon erection, commissioning, and testing. The agreement also includes a defect liability period of 12 months from the date of commissioning.

The order has been awarded by domestic entities and does not involve any related-party transactions. The company confirmed that neither the promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the entities awarding the contract.

This contract marks another key milestone for Kirloskar Brothers Limited in strengthening its presence in India’s thermal power sector by delivering critical pump solutions for large-scale power generation projects.
