The 25th All India Major Port Cultural Meet has commenced at Paradip Port, bringing together over 200 participants from nine major ports to celebrate arts, culture, and unity.

The 25th All India Major Port Cultural Meet has begun at Paradip Port, Odisha, bringing together port communities from across India in a celebration of arts and culture. The four-day event, running from January 9 to January 11, 2026, is organised by the Paradip Port Authority under the Major Ports Sports Control Board and is being held at Jayadev Sadan within the port campus.

The meet was inaugurated by Shri P. L. Haranadh, Chairman of Paradip Port Authority, who highlighted the role of cultural expression in fostering unity and harmony. More than 200 participants from nine major ports including Chennai, Cochin, Deendayal, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority, Kolkata, Mumbai, Visakhapatnam, V.O. Chidambaranar and host Paradip are taking part in the festivities.

A range of competitions and performances are underway, spanning classical and light vocal music, instrumental music, dance, and drama, with each port team showcasing their artistic talents. The opening cultural presentations were offered by teams from Mumbai Port Authority and Visakhapatnam Port Authority.

The meet will conclude on January 11, 2026, with a valedictory programme and prize distribution ceremony recognising standout performances.
