Q. With India’s logistics and warehousing sectors expanding rapidly, what demand trends are you witnessing across your material handling portfolio? Which product categories are seeing the strongest traction post-pandemic, and what customer feedback is shaping your product roadmap?
We are seeing a growing demand for specialised equipment such as empty container handlers, safer pick and carry cranes in the retail environment and more reliable truck cranes in the above 80 ton category. The material handling sector saw pentup demand across categories post-pandemic. There is cyclical demand for some products; for others, demand is based on infrastructure and mining projects, so it would be fair to say that there is ample demand for most good products. All the products we are offering and have added to our product roadmap are strongly shaped by customer feedback. Each product we manufacture caters to a sizable chunk of the market, but we have found unique niches within segments based on capacity, reliability, efficiency, total cost of ownership, etc.
