B R Goyal Infrastructure Ltd. has secured a ₹33.27 crore contract from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to manage user-fee collection at the Paraghat Toll Plaza, located on NH-200 (New NH-49) in Bilaspur district, Chhattisgarh.
The award was made through a competitive e-tendering process for a one-year assignment, spanning from January 23, 2025, to January 23, 2026. The arrangement is part of a larger rehabilitation and upgradation project by NHAI on the NH-200 stretch from Km 127.500 to Km 160.687, between Village Theka (or Darrighat) and Village Banari.
Under the terms of the contract, B R Goyal Infrastructure will not only collect toll revenue but also handle the maintenance of adjacent toilet facilities at the plaza. This includes regular cleaning, upkeep, and replenishment of consumables.
In a regulatory filing, the company clarified that its promoters and promoter group do not have any interest in the awarding authority, ensuring that the transaction is not classified as a related-party deal.
Market reaction to the announcement has been positive: following the contract win, B R Goyal Infrastructure’s share price rose as investors welcomed the addition to its order book.
