B.R. Goyal Infrastructure Ltd. has been awarded a ₹377.54 crore contract by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of toll plazas and user fee collection on the Bundelkhand Expressway, strengthening the company’s presence in the road asset management segment. The order has been classified as a confirmed contract and was disclosed to the stock exchanges on July 30.
The scope of work includes toll collection, operation and maintenance of toll plazas, and deployment of 12 patrol-cum-safety vehicles along with the required manpower to ensure smooth traffic management and highway safety across the expressway. The contract has been awarded for an initial period of two years, with a provision for an extension of up to six months at the discretion of UPEIDA.
The 296-km Bundelkhand Expressway, developed by UPEIDA, connects Etawah and Chitrakoot, providing a vital high-speed corridor across southern Uttar Pradesh and improving connectivity to the Bundelkhand region. The latest contract is expected to support efficient toll operations and maintenance of the strategically important expressway.
The order adds to B.R. Goyal Infrastructure’s portfolio of road construction and maintenance projects and further enhances its presence in the highways operations business. According to the company’s regulatory filing, the contract has been awarded by a domestic government authority and does not constitute a related-party transaction.
