State-owned NBCC (India) Ltd. has secured fresh work orders worth ₹109.39 crore, comprising two government infrastructure projects in Odisha and Jammu & Kashmir, the company informed stock exchanges through a regulatory filing. The contracts relate to the construction of student accommodation and a medical research facility.

The larger contract, valued at ₹80.89 crore, has been awarded by the Higher Education Department, Government of Odisha, for the construction of hostels at various government colleges across the state under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) model. The project is intended to strengthen residential infrastructure for students pursuing higher education.

NBCC has also received a ₹28.50 crore order from the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar, for the construction of a Multi-Disciplinary Research Unit (MRU) laboratory. The proposed facility is expected to enhance the institute’s medical research capabilities by providing dedicated infrastructure for advanced scientific studies.

The company stated that both contracts were awarded in the ordinary course of business and will be executed in accordance with the respective project requirements. The latest orders further reinforce NBCC’s continued engagement in delivering education and healthcare infrastructure projects for government institutions across the country.
