Manglam Infra & Engineering Limited has secured a ₹7.18 crore contract from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) for providing Independent Engineer consultancy services for three operational stretches of NH-66 in Maharashtra. The contract was awarded by MoRTH’s Regional Office for Maharashtra and Goa.

The consultancy assignment relates to the operation and maintenance phase of three four-laning projects executed under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM). The stretches covered under the contract include the Parshuram Ghat–Arawali (Km 205.400–241.300), Arawali–Kante (Km 241.300–281.300) and Kante–Waked (Km 281.300–332.200) sections of NH-66 (formerly NH-17).

As the Independent Engineer, Manglam Infra will oversee compliance with contractual obligations during the operation and maintenance period. Its responsibilities include monitoring road quality, maintenance standards, safety provisions, asset performance and adherence to concession agreement requirements, while acting as an independent technical authority between the project authority and concessionaire.

The contract is valued at ₹7,17,74,400 and will be executed over a 36-month period. The company clarified in its regulatory filing that the order has been awarded by a domestic government entity, does not involve any related-party transaction and that neither its promoters nor promoter group have any interest in the awarding authority.

NH-66 is one of India’s most important coastal highway corridors, connecting Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The latest consultancy assignment forms part of the Centre’s continuing efforts to improve highway asset management and ensure efficient maintenance of upgraded national highway infrastructure under the HAM framework.
