Q. DOKA aiming of making everything easier, better and more efficient, what are your strategies to make DOKA as no. 1 brand?

In today’s high paced scenario, for the rapid growth of system formwork solutions, we are continuously working to create a robust ecosystem by creating a stronger amalgamation of right products, services, and technologies for our customers.

We engage with our client from the inception of the project itself and offer the best solutions to satisfy their requirement. We have a wide range of applications from formwork to scaffolding solutions such as wall formwork, slab, and climbing formwork.

We always aim to deliver value to our customers, especially we strive to bring clarity and enhance efficiency by educating our various stakeholders about the importance of our formwork system solutions

 

Q. What challenges you faced while you establishing DOKA in India?

Conventional systems are not a good choice when it comes to the safety of the system as well as the concrete. Hence, awareness of the formwork solutions is the key to ours & construction segments growth in India. The biggest challenge is the lack of awareness of System formwork solutions & their benefit to the civil contractors and the builders.

Therefore, we always direct our efforts towards spreading awareness on how and what benefits can the modular formwork systems bring to our customer. As our formwork systems play a pivotal role in enabling faster & better quality construction of all types of buildings, be it simple or the complex ones.

 

Q. In which sectors your equipment has been used and how much they succeeded?

We do not want to limit ourselves to any specialized segment. We are happy to offer our solutions to the real estate segment, both residential or commercial, as well as infrastructure and heavy industry. We have a wide range of requisite product solutions and services in our basket globally. We are looking to go beyond formwork and provide solutions in scaffolding as well as ‘Concremote’ that will enable our customers to understand how concrete behaves while it is cast, by being a partner in their concreting process.

 

Q. Sustainable product and services, business models, logistics and sustainability through training and professional development, how would you define these dimensions through sustainability?

Products & Solutions:

All Doka products comply with the most stringent requirements in terms of quality & environment i.e with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Beyond that, each new product generation is compatible with the one already in existence. Compatibility is a prerequisite for a long product cycle. Moreover, an extended product cycle contributes to positive outcomes in terms of efficiency.

Renting is “IN”:

We offer a sustainable model to accommodate every more last-minute contract awards and abbreviated planning cycles of our customers. Our formwork units are tailor-made for the long-term with customised solutions that extends the life span, provides safety, saves time and money by delivering perfectly functioning materials.

Q. What are the services you provide to your customers?

We @ Doka, work on the most complex structures, and this gets done due to an experience that we have that is unmatched. We engage with our client from the inception of the project itself and offer the best solutions to satisfy their requirement. Additionally, we also work on various attractive models such as sell, rent and sale and buyback to deliver the right value. We have an elaborated range of services that we can offer to our clients.

 

Q. “Understanding” plays, a big role for your company, either it is about high rise project as a partner or safety which takes you the top. Explain this in details?

Keeping things moving forward is something like second nature to us. We are never quite content with our achievements and are always looking for new approaches. This is the reason we invest so much time and money – to produce even better results for our customers.

 

Q. Tell me something about your current project and future plans?

We see India as a critical market, and it is continuously evolving. There are many infrastructure development taking place which is contributing to higher growth in construction of the market. India is a developing country and in need of significant investment in residential, commercial and infrastructure segments. We are keen to support this growth journey and would like to contribute through our capabilities in all kinds of structures; be they bungalows, the critical high-rise or some breakthrough megastructures.

 

Q. How do you contribute in Bauma, 2018? Is there any product launch from your side in Bauma exhibition or does Bauma help you to make profit?

DOKA is a participant of bauma CONEXPO in many parts of the world. We have been a strong participant in India in the past. This year the expo is bigger than the past. We are delighted to be here, and it has been a wonderful experience for us. We certainly had some great meetings with our new and existing clients which made visitors experience the products right at the time of the discussions.

 

Q. How do you look at the government policies that affect DOKA? What are the pros and cons of policies such as GST?

RERA is a positive step taken by the government, and this will enable the industry to become more organized with better technologies that could be used in the construction industry that will ultimately benefit the end consumer.

 

Q. Does DOKA initiates towards CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility)?

Our group globally pursues its strategies and goals by responsible actions for the society. Our organization has always been aware of our responsibilities towards our businesses, our processes, and our society– together with all activities – under the aspect of sustainability. It is a part of the company’s corporate philosophy to play an active role in society and to campaign for the region and its people. We are committed to improve every day and are continuously working towards contributing to a livable future.
